A wonderful 18 hole Waitemata Golf Course Devonport
Take in the Devonport sights by bike and enjoy a environmentally friendly cycle along the waterfront on a retro Victorian style bike. These can be found at the ferry terminal.
The Piha Canyon – come canyoning in the sub-tropical rainforest of the West Coast Waitakere Ranges, only 40 minutes from Auckland Central (transport provided). Abseiling down showering waterfalls surrounded by moss and fern covered volcanic rock walls, swimming through pools of blues and greens, jumps, caves, and slides as you explore the canyon! All obstacles are optional, no experience needed. You will also see the remains of the original pioneers wood constructed logging dam; learn about the local history and Maori culture. Climb Lion Rock for some great photo opportunities.
